Well, it's kind of funny that you mention that. When I first joined the PC, my very first encounter on this website came in the form of another person's Introduction Thread. This kid claimed he was posting in the PC to redeem his credibility as he had been permabanned from every other Pokemon-based forum in existence. He continuously apologized, claiming how sorry he was for his actions on those websites to the point that it was very abrasive. Everybody attempted to reassure him that, "What happened in the past is in the past. We don't care about what you were then, just follow the rules and enjoy your stay." (Eventually he was banned for his actions.) So, I came across Vrai's thread in S&M about, "What we have done, how we have changed, and what we are going to do to enforce it," (that wasn't the name of the thread, but you get the gist of it). I told them about the experience I had with that kid. I told them that, as a new member, I don't care what happened in the past as long as you guys know what went wrong and care about fixing it. They went above and beyond to make me feel important. I had ONE post and everybody made me feel like it mattered. They didn't just say, "go away n00b this is important stuff we're talking about here." All the regulars here were so nice to me.. it was really touching. But then S&M became the CBC and PC was down for a week and me the noob thought, "what did I do wrong...?" ;______; lol

Anyway, sorry for that big 'ol rant. You guys have really changed what the PC was known for and now, not only do I feel confident enough to post, but I also get to help new members who might the same reservations. It's thanks to members like you and the other regulars/mods, who actually reach out to other people, that make the PC a really great forum. I've been hooked ever since. :D
