By that, I mean event Pokemon, not species. Taking into consideration how long it was distributed, how expensive it is to obtain it (for things such as transferring from other games or hardware), or how little there are out there, what special Pokemon is the most difficult to get a hold of?

I see. I googled how to get Pokemon in the Altering Cave and lots of people said that you could use an e-Card of one of the compatible Pokemon to activate them in the Japanese version of FR/LG only. Silly rumors, I guess. I would love to see a video, though.
