As for Zorua/Houndour/Growlithe with Snarl, I know the TM isn't... common... But there must be pokémon out there that know the move. Knowing the move would be enough for it to pass down onto the offspring. Right?
By the way, there was an event Zoroark that knew snarl.

I know, they're available in other 4th gen games, though. Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum all have Feebas. That and I lost my Pokewalker and I can't seem to find it.

I think you read the wrong thing. When I checked my list, the gender symbol wasn't ♀, it actually was a flipped ♀, which means genderless for Pokecheck (got the BBCode from Pokecheck).
