Im having a problem, I just downloaded the starter kit off the site and a error pops up " Script 'Audio' line 136: NoMethodError occurred. undefined method `getPlayMusic' for Kernel:Module " How do i fix this?

Less is more. I don't like hacks that are complicated, but keeping the player on his toes is a good thing. If you make a hack, make it look like something Pokemon would produce.

I think the reason FireRed is hacked more is because of the space in the block editor and the you can find more scripting help for it, because every one uses it. Ruby is good as well, sapphire is hard to find. Emerald is good to, but you scripting for it might take some time. Im a novice...

Beta testing! A good map takes time, and some people dont take that time,and use i wisely...

Hacking is dieing because we work with the same games. I think it will pick up when we are able to make games from diamond and pearl.

Isn't it illegal unless you own a copy of the games (not in a literal sense) ? But its ok, wouldn't say you should do it...

You could always use eclipse... but that engine isnt very good if you ask me, it allows you to paperdoll things (customise with different clothes).

Overworld sprites means the characters, and those are 2D, No, I dont think we have a program out there to edit them yet, but we do to rip them..

I don't think they've replaced it. As they said, it is when you transfer your colored Pichu from Platinum to Heart Gold or Soul Silver, It's like oaks letter, just in pokemon form.

Its good not to have a team, because teams tend to make deadlines(which are a pain) and they fall apart often(people either get kicked or quit). It is good to work by yourself to learn all the basics. You can move to pitching your ideas, get people interested, and then get the ball rolling...

This is funny, I was making a remake of gold and silver (you can see sprites on my Deviantart page), until I got news of the remakes. I stoped, because I didn't want to be critiqued on how mine is nothing like Game Freaks/Creatures Inc.
