Pokemon received from global trades

hey guys, I know this was probably asked a million times in this forum but ive been searching and searching and i couldnt find the answer. are traded pokemon weaker than caught pokemon?

Leveling I was wondering, would a pokemon trained from level one end up stronger than a pokemon caught at level 50 and trained up? sorry if this isnt in the right place btw please forgive me!!!!
