Yup Well... I think you should leave Gulpin in, but it should be an assistant to a Swalot. Partially because Swalot is evolved, so would know more. And then you wouldn't be sticking exactly to the original MD storyline

Well, she did go to the dojo. And besides, if you rush into a plotline to quick you'll have to keep going back and fixing things. I think it's a good idea to get a strong foundation for the base storyline before it gets to complex.

We usually buy a live Christmas tree every year. We usually wait until the first weekend in December, so that it won't die. But, we have already started doing stuff like putting up garland and stuff like that.
