The way it works is actually something to do with the Route 47 script - it checks some condition that decides what the warp on the Embedded Tower entrance actually goes to. I just simply swapped the previous condition to an item check.

It's not hard really if you haven't already figured it out; you just need an emulator (no$gba 2.6a with no$zoomer or DeSmuME), a Black and White English unpatched ROM and the files linked in the thread for BBVW. Just throw the ROM in the same folder as the patch, run the .bat and voila.
