Agreed. My favorites are purely based off design and personality. My favorites are Kingdra, Altaria, Flygon, and Dragalge. Kingdra and Dragalge are badass AND beautiful seadragons, whereas Altaria and Flygon are cute hoenn dragon -- one with fluffy cloud wings and the other with pink goggles.

I think the starters of gen 7 blow every other set of final evolutions out of the water. Even though Poppmaid is my favorite starter and favorite pokemon of all time, the other starters are also exceptional. I mean, Mermaid Sealion and Archer Owl just seem too good to be true! Litten's final...

I honestly do not mind Alola Dugtrio. It's based on sirens who call sailors toward rocks to cause their ships to wreck or be stranded. Does it look silly, yes. But at least it is not entirely boring and makes some sense. Alolan Persian is just boring and ugly. The worst of both worlds. Sure...

I actually really like Litten's final evolution based on the 3d model. Though, I still like the other two more. As a group I think they are the most solid. But yes! I was relieved to FINALLY have my mermaid sealion confirmed and in its 3D model.
