Is there a way to make circles of light, like the one around the player, on other events in dark maps? I want to make torches with light circles around them in my dark cave, but I can't seem to figure it out.

Currently working on a game. Nothing serious as of yet as I'm still making major story adjustments and such. I've managed to get together a full fledged game up to the first gym and rival battle after. It's about 3 total hours of gameplay so far.

I've started working with essentials and rpg maker a couple weeks ago. Been pretty smooth sailing so far, but I've come to a wall. I'm curious if it's possible to change the border block from black to something else in certain maps only.?

Using 1.92 This was my first conclusion actually. I went ahead and made sure the tilesets in both maps were the same but the issue still happens. The game usually crashes. The buggy tilesets are a lesser common issue.

When I create a map in AdvanceMap and insert it into the game all goes normally. Once I start the game and attempt to enter the map the game either crashes upon entering, or allows me to enter the map, but upon exiting causes the game's tiles to become glitchy. Is there any specific reason that...

Maybe as opposed to regular gyms the hero could go through "trials" before facing the dark creature. Maybe like possessed trainers who upon beating will give the hero a symbol which upon gathering all of will allow the trainer to face the creature. Really just random ideas here but I really do...

Looks like a really well done hack. I can appreciate a hack that uses FR tiles, yet still manages to look awesome! I'll be keeping this bookmarked for a future beta release :)
