yes, I do see why you are in a bind. And as for "fitting into a friendship..." it may take quite awhile... I have had to get used to a lot of my friend's... habits when I first met them... not to mention my 4 best friends all have polar opposite personalities... It definitely makes it hard.

If I may ask, did he communicate more before you broke up? and If so, how does he communicate with other confirmed friends? you can always tell a lot about someone's communication habits to analyze their past behaviors with others it seems.

as for support, It seems to be an almost required thing for humans. After all we do tend to be socially based creatures, at least most of us. So having even someone who can be a pain in the rear and still supports you through the bad Is still invaluable

As for your parents and friend whom is being difficult, I've never met any of them so I can't have an opinion on how they act and where their values lie. Have you considered any other strategies for leaving? deku leaf? talking boat? pokemon journey? Exodus to Alaska (that's my plan in a few years ^-^)

I applaud you for breaking preset "rules" and "labels" in pursuit for your own reasons ^-^ Breaking molds in any way possible is something that should happen more often in this this fairly single minded country I live in (U.S.)

You really shouldn't have to choose if you don't want to. Kind of like my political status XD But seriously, I think it's one of the major problems with our world. The requirement to label everything, just doesn't make sense in such a grey world.

Eh, I'm told that I am a disgrace to god quite frequently. I guess it's just because I really dislike the set up of the christian faith... But there are quite a few that are similar XD I guess that's the problem with being agnostic, I try to question everything equally.

Eh, I figured you were going to say christian college. I have had friends in Highschool transfer out of private christian schools because of the same treatment, They for whatever reason weren't religious and the schools still required certain classes. It does suck though that your parents are forcing you to go to college that you dislike though. That would be an extreme bummer.

What subjects do they mandate? isn't it supposed to be like study whatever takes your fancy? I mean unless your parents are choosing for you? but it's hard to see a parent say, You are going into accounting whether you like it or not! ( but i cold totally see someone do that XD)

It may be due to the fact that I'm taking prereqs at a community college but why does it suck? especially on the first day back, that's like syllabus and "easy reading" homework day XD. Either way this is my first semester off since I started at my college senior year so I can't really talk...
