Couple of side notes I noticed about your review to Eyes of Odetta:
1. Lept is not actually a word. Leapt is. Remember to spell-check your review before posting it.
2. You seem to forget that the story is told in present tense, not past. Throughout your review, you attempt to correct a handful of verbs by making them past-tense while leaving alone the majority of the work. This creates inconsistencies.
3. All pokémon names can be plurals or singulars. As in, to say "I see multiple machoke" is just as correct as "I see multiple machokes." In fact, canon considers the first (that pokémon names are plurals as well as singulars without needing an added S) to be correct.
4. Semicolons are very rarely used, and in most cases, they're used to connect two independent clauses in the same way a comma and conjunction (and, but, or, nor, et cetera) would.
5.
You just told someone to create a comma splice.
Basically speaking, be very careful when pointing out someone else's grammar. The worst thing you could do is give them corrections to their work that end up adding more errors to what they're trying to do.
