  • Then they would probably buy a Xbox 360. Cheapest console on the market nowadays, and shares the majority of the PS3's titles. Plus it has more features than the Wii.
    I know. It would be awesome it we could. :p Bit of a shame that Nintendo likes to keep production costs low in order to make a profit, unlike Sony where you're virtually stealing from them because of how expensive hardware is. (Portable PS2.5 for £250 says hi.)
    They probably won't, but we can dream. I'm more interested in a 3DS phone though, or a least a phone compatible with Streetpass and can tether to a 3DS for 3G Internet.
    The 3G service could probably be on a pay as you go basis, where you buzz the 3DS into a newsagent and put money on it. You then use the money to buy packages for data transmissions and time using the service. You can also create e-mails and text messages on it. 3G turns off when a Internet hotspot is available.

    That's just my Idea on how 3G could work on the 3DS.
    Yes, it has 3G, Wi-fi and GPS. Only the 3DS has one of those things, Wi-fi. It would be nice to see a 3DS ;probably called the 3DSm (The m coming from modem); with 3G built into it, as finding wi-fi hot-spots to play games on-line is irritating.
    Yeah, there can be some terrible 1st party games, the best examples being most of the Mario games on the gamecube. Also, I'd avoid Steel Diver and Pilotwings unless you can pick them up for sub-£25 as there isn't a lot of content in them.
    nintendogs + cats has much more content than the original one. Also, some of the best games for consoles (The Wii being a prime example) are sometimes 3rd parties. You're obviously of-put by the shovelware that 3rd parties make for the Wii/DS. I always research a game before getting it, so I don't get a pile of vomit.
    I haven't bought down loadable games for it, but currently there are hardly any. They are making more I believe, but it's a sleeping giant. The two free games it comes with (Pokedex 3D and 3D Classics: Excitebike) are great though. The actual content of the retail games are OK. There are some great ones, (nintendogs + cats, SSFV3D, Oot3D.) some fairly good ones, (Super Monkey Ball 3D, Ridge Racer 3D.) and some phenomenology terrible ones.(Asphlat 3D, Sims 3.) DS games overall work extremely well on it and breathes new life to games that can benefit from the Circle Pad.
    I bought the 3DS because I wanted technology from this year. Half of the stuff I have comes from 2006. I also bought it to replace my old DS which, frankly, had it's chips.
    At least the DSi/3DS has download-able content, although it's special games made for the service. And you can play DS games on the DSi and new retail games on the 3DS.

    ...I sound like I'm advertising.-_-
    That's pretty much a major positive with download-able games. You can't lose them unless a device's memory drive mucks up.
    I lost my copy of Bowser's Inside Story on a bus. I would re-buy it, but I might just emulate it. Also, recently I also re bought Rhythm Paradise/Heaven. I lose games too easily. :{
    That's never happened to me. Although I have bought Mario Kart DS 3 times. -_-
    Emerald is the only pokemon game I bought twice because I lost it. I lost Pearl before and replaced it with Platinum.
