Before you write this off as a lame remake (parody of a parody, I would probably dismiss it myself), I would like to assure you that I've worked very hard on it, and the responses I've gotten are almost exclusively positive.. So I would ask that you give it a chance, and I think you will like...

I had never noticed this either! They do look almost EXACTLY alike though, now that you mentioned it.

In the show, I love him.. In the game.. Never really used a pikachu.

I have a cat named Pichu. But actually named it that the same year red/blue came out, so Pichu wasn't really a pokemon yet... Pichu was an adorable kitten and my brother was telling my mom we should take a picture of him, but she thought he called him "Pichu" and the name stuck.

People have made fun of me but I never took it seriously. I kind of take pride in being a nerd, if people don't like the way I am that's fine. I've learned the less you care about what people think, the happier you are (and the more people tend to like you anyway)

Yes. When trying to catch a legendary pokemon that is at approximately 1% health and paralyzed, but multiple ultra balls fail... I get extremely angry.

It wouldn't be a huge deal for me now, but back when I first got red, me and my brother both wanted to play our own game and realized we couldn't. Tensions were high until another copy was purchased.

The first time through, I nicknamed all my pokemon to my friend's names. It got kind of hard to keep up with, though.. So I never did it again. On a slightly related note, about a year ago my brother changed ALL the contacts in my phone to pokemon. It was fun figuring out who was who.

I never have and I probably never will... Although I don't care for the generation IV starters I still feel the need to keep the starter around.

I always end up using the master ball before I "should" because I get impatient. For example: in red, I used it on zapdos because I got frustrated after dozens of ultra balls failing.

Just joined because I <3 pokemon and want to discuss with other enthusiasts. It kind of sucks when you make a pokemon joke/reference in real life and no one around gets it. I don't think that'll happen around here.

Oh God yes. Back when I was younger and I started playing TCG, I spent all the money I had on pokemon cards for about a year and a half. I kind of wish I would have sold them back then and made some money off that investment.. instead they were lost in a move :(

I have to go with Dragonite. Probably cheesy but I almost ALWAYS have one in my final party.

Group certainly.. as long as I get to pick who I'm going with (don't see why not). Brock and Misty would be cool to travel with, but I have several friends I can think of as well.
