Well Oshawott's stats make for a decent mixed-attacker once it evolves up. I'm not sure what the most common builds are for Samurott, but I think running Surf, Ice Beam, Megahorn, and Night Slash would be a good build. However, since he can learn Swords Dance, it might be more useful to run all...
I'm biased though, I've never tried playing any of the Ranger games (although I have played XD and loved it) because they just looked too "little kiddish."
I'm 19, but if what you're saying is true, I'm sure I could still get some enjoyment out of the games if I gave them a try.
Well it could be that Gamefreak and Nintendo intended to make B/W directed toward adult audiences, what with all the spin-off games that seem more directed toward child audiences.
I really only think to name my Pokemon when a name pops into my head right away. My Koffing, for example, is nicknamed Coughdrops, and my Lapras is nicknamed Nessy. :)
These games came out when I was in second grade, and I have enjoyed playing them ever since. I think that the audience for Pokemon games will continually seem to get older because of similar experiences amongst players.
It's really interesting. I had never noticed the references you listed, but they both make sense. However, I agree with Fireworks in that the "visual dreams" reference may be more directly referencing the dream world.
On SoulSilver I used it to catch Lugia, after some 30+ ultra balls failed, just to see what its nature and IV's would be like. I ended up keeping that Lugia, because it was a Modest nature with near perfect IV's! I generally wait to use the masterball for a Pokemon that runs away in battle.
Well I looked over the Forums rules and Signature rules so far. I will continue to look over them as I see them in each new board I visit. :) Thank you for the warm welcome!
I was pretty upset last generation with the release of Purugly and Nosepass's evolution. Not nearly as upset, however, as with the release of the ice cream Pokemon in generation 5. I really do appreciate most of the additions to the Pokedex, though. I would have preferred a different fire...
