Okay guys, I've got a running list (it's actually quite small) of how to spot fake cards. Since we're a community of Pokemon-Card Experts, I was wondering if anyone else had any tips for spotting fake cards.

My favorite card changes all the time - right now I like Gengar LV. X from Arceus. It's level down destroys other level x cards!

You saved me a bit of typing, thanks! Also, if the card feels "thin" or the color is much more faded than usual, those are also good signs of a fake.

the dodrio kinda looks like it's from the sticker series, but I have also seen real cards that look like that.

Yeah, definitely. My grandpa wants to sell all his old Pokemon Cards, I told him that the cards aren't selling for a whole lot right now, and that he's better off just hanging onto them. Lol, he tells me he probably won't get to see the day when Pokemon Cards are worth as much as baseball...
