Need some help with buying old cards.

    Hello, I have a rather decent card collection. However I really dont have anything really worth all that much. I wanna get something really nice/rare. Im thinking 3 things. First Edition shadowless Charizard. Base set 1 Shadowless, Or 1st Edition Neo Genesis set. What one would you choose to get? Thanks for the help.

    Base set Charizard is so typical, everyone thinks it's such a gem but tons of people have them, and you can get them on Ebay any time you want.
    I personally love the Neo sets, and I think having a complete set is much more satisfying than having just one good card, unless it were a trophy card or fan club card or something like that. It really just depends on your price point; a first edition Neo Genesis set would cost more than a first edition shadowless Charizard, but would be much more impressive, especially if the whole set was mint.

    Do you remember the Neo Genesis set that had the first 9 cards in the set?

    you cant find them on ebay, well you can, but there not common. they are there, but not a lot. i recently went to a store and bought the old time fossils, but i also agree with the neo cards. get those.
