Yes but in most cases in competitive battling mewtwo would be the least occurring legendary besides the birds there are lots of Ghost/Dark Pokemon lurking around the place now with Noir around.

Taunt is awesome, especially since no one expects it on CBTar. A little thing I like to do is max out HP, give it 216 SpD, and a Careful nature. It can survive an Aura Sphere from Timid Mewtwo.

Taunt is a pretty good move for DDTar. I used it, but I really love the power of CBTar. I use Focus Punch/Crunch/Earthquake/Stone Edge. Most use Pursuit, but it's really predictable, whereas Focus Punch lets me hit things like Magnezone who would wall me (with Magnet Rise)

Same his STAB moves are indestructible. The only problem i have really had with Tyranitar is it's dark type. It learns only a select few Dark moves such as Crunch and Bite. But his other moves own all.

I love using Tyranitar in competative battling. He's nigh unbeatable with his vast movepool. I one time 6-0'd an entire team with a single DD. I also love how CBTar can destroy it's counters (Gliscor, Weezing, etc...) with STAB Stone Edge.

I agree. He's hated on because he rips the metagame in two.
