That may be true, but it isn't anybody else's job to teach you how to ROM Hack. Anyone helping you learn hacking is doing it in their spare time, so you should feel lucky that people spend a few minutes looking up tutorials for whatever you need help with at all. Reading long/bad/outdated...
There are a few very easy ways of successfully expanding a ROM to 32MB.

Started watching Ghost Hunt and It's actually better than I expected. The short 3-4 episode stories really work well for this genre.
I've also picked up Monthly Girls' Nozaki-kun. The art is amazing and the plot is pretty good so far.
