In no particular order…
- I think we will see another rival, she will be a girl, and she will be the tough, “mean” type, but also likely become our friend in the end. So Hop = Hau and this girl = Gladion, the true rival of the Alola games.
- I think we probably will see at least one more gym...
I think all the concerns are valid, but using “performance, graphics, and animations” as the excuse for cutting the Dex has also made them related, I think, in most people’s eyes. So while I hear what you’re saying, I think the Dexit protesters are indirectly also complaining about the overall...
What you said. Yes.
Not stubborn, real. We’re talking about multiple companies in multiple countries and multiple billions of dollars. Canceling the game or even delaying it is never going to happen. It’s ridiculous to even think about it.
I can’t understand why you believe canceling preorders...
I have the same apprehension. I was extremely hyped for Galar. I watched the Treehouse and just deflated and sank. I haven’t finished Shiny and Legendary hunting in Ultra Wormholes, and it almost feels now like there’s no point.
At some point, they’re going to take away my ability to just keep...
Impidimp has grown on me. It initially made me think of Hoopa, but I see Sableye, too. I think I’d like Yamper more without the green. Like if the green parts were dark brown, especially the eyes, I’d probably love it.
Yes. This is what is so extremely disappointing about this decision, and the anxiety that this disappointment will seemingly continue forever.
Love the Dynamax mechanic? Perhaps its primary appeal is even that it provides the opportunity to see your favorite Pokémon splashed HUGE across a big...
I explained it poorly. The way I would personally use it is to have a consistent Trainer avatar, with the same name and look across games. However, I think the only thing the system actually locks in place is the Home ID. Some players enjoy changing both their name and avatar. With Home ID...
I kind of hope Professor Magnolia has a pet Yamper now!
They really do seem to be improving since Gen 6 on making each Region feel instantly aesthetically unique. It’s one of the things I appreciate most in modern Pokémon games.
This is just what I’m thinking about now. I wonder if anyone else who’s disappointed about the transfer limitations might feel better if Home turns out something like this. I’d also love to hear other people’s hopes and ideas for Home.
Here’s what’s on my mind:
1. Home ID supersedes OT for all...
Even though I’m disappointed, I really liked your approach in the first paragraph and was about to hit that thumbs-up…
But then the second paragraph labels other fans of this thing we like together as “childish” and “comically immature” for having a different perspective, and I just couldn’t do...
I agree. It sounds like the assets for non-Galar mon will simply be absent from the code. Honestly, there is a sneaking suspicion that not having to code every single mon for the jump to Gen 8 is the “real” reason for doing this.
If it is, and they’d say that, I’d almost respect that more. In...
I’m actually not a huge fan of either of these designs…yet. Yamper’s Ball Fetch ability is beautiful, though. I’m hoping it has a Shiny with colors that appeal to me more.
Impidimp I’m hoping evolves into something I like more. I really like its typing, so I’m still open to it.
Neither was...
I hope and suspect it’s gonna play out like “we meant not yet”, but if they do that now, that really throws the interpreter under the bus because the tone and language of the English spoken were strikingly clear.
This definitely is what it sounded like, and they specifically said “a new...
