Yup. In the end, I still didn't get my bus pass since the line was 100+ people long, and it would have taken hours for my turn to come. So we gave up and decided to come another time. >_<
Yeah, I dropped out. I only found a good plot this morning, and I had lots of stuff to do today, so there was no way I could finish in time. I can tell you about my idea though. It was supposed to be called Labyrinth of Time.
So basically, it's this special event sponsored by Silph. Co for any trainers who feel up to the challenge. Ariel Gardner decides to participate since she read that the winner got a whole lot of money, not to mention a huge trophy. The MC announces the rules. They will be in a gigantic maze. The goal is to make it to the center to the exit. The first one to do so will be the winner. But that's not all. Silph Co. used this opportunity to test out their newest product, Time Portals. (We're kind of in the future.) These Portals will be scattered all over the maze. To activate them you have to have a Time Key, which are hidden as well. The Portals will take you anywhere in the past or future, so that you can go back to when you didn't take that wrong turn, or to skip a few paces when you're tired of walking. That was what was originally planned. The problem is, it's still a new product, so who knows if it might malfunction...
Of course, this is a challenge for trainers, so the contestants are allowed to use their Pokemon's abilities. They just have to be careful about traps and encounters with wild Pokemon. If they choose to give up all they have to do is press a button they received at the start of the event. They will be instantly teleported out of the maze.
So Ariel enters the maze. Her Pokemon are quite strong, so she manages to defeat all the Pokemon she encounters and avoid dangerous traps. But since she is in a labyrinth, she gets lost. Luckily, she finds a Time Key and a Time Portal. Unfortunately, it malfunctions. She is sent to the distant past, during the infernal battle between Groudon and Kyogre. She barely makes it out alive, having found another Time Portal. This time she is sent to the future, a thousand years after her time. She is in a sort of strange white room full of machinery. Suddenly, she is attacked by white mechanical Pokemon. Her Pokemon have a hard time against these robots, but she manages to escape to another Portal. This time she is sent into the very near future; she is witnessing the prize exchange at the end of the event. Another contestant had won. Disappointed, she takes another Portal, though she thinks it is useless, and finally makes it back to her time. She finds the exit, though she is not excited. She knows she will not win. But it happens that she did! The people rush to her and announce her the first to come out! After receiving her prizes, a trophy and a million-dollar cheque, she approaches the Silph. Co director and tells him about her experiences with the Time Portal. The director is shocked, and decides that the Portal is unsafe, and that they should not release any more of that. Finally, she asks him why she has won even though the future said that she would lose. He explains that even the future is not certain, and that it all depends on the actions you take here, in the present.
