Hello, thanks for getting back to me! I was sure I patched the ips onto a fresh ROM but I suppose I could have easily made the mistake! I'll download a clean ROM and try it again and then play it through, to see if the glitch is still there! I'm sure it won't be, my mistake!
What a shame I've played it till the end of beta 2 already, I love it!

The "glitch" you have sounds like you might have not patched the ips to a clean rom, because I haven't gotten anybody saying they got a blue/purple screen after ending a battle with an ace trainer, nor has any of our beta testers.
Btw in the cave with the ghost type pokemon, that's the end of beta 2.
