It depends on the part of town I'm in. I've had gyms dropped within 30 minutes, with others being there for about 6-12 hours. The longest gym that is still running is a flower shop in a high traffic downtown area, where I have a Snorlax that's been there for 3 weeks.

Against Dragonite, Clefable with Moonblast or Lapras. Gyarados and Lapras aren't Dragon Types, but are water types. Use your best electric types against them. Raichu is good for offense, or Magneton for Defense.
