Do you mostly play alone or with friends?

How do you play? Do you find it funner to play with others or are you mostly solo only? If you play with friends, how often do you play alone and vice versa?

^ I wouldn't say playing alone is playing it wrong. I play with others and sometimes I play on my own. My only reason for the latter is that I tend to walk really, really, really fast. Really fast.

My friends play, but we live kinda far apart, and I usually use it in the car, so alone.

I always go at it alone. Don't have the social life required to go in groups.

I always play with friends. I live in a rural area, so it's not as much fun alone (imo) rather than being in a group.

I play alone. I don't have a choice, what with having no friends.

Alone. Work at night and have my kids during the day. Social life is a no go. On the weekend I go out for an hour or 2 with a luck egg and incense and then pop another egg for evolving and head back home happy to a home cooked meal lol

Mostly I play Go with my wife and kids but I usually go for a late night walk after they all asleep, they are all morning larks but I'm a night owl so I'm usually still wide awake when they've all fallen asleep.

I go out alone, but i always go to spots where many people are playing, and i start talking to people who are around my age.

So now, when i decide to play and go to a spot where many people are playing, i usually find someone that i know, or i get to know new people. I met one player so often that we now added each other in facebook and exchanged numbers, we plan on going to a spot in the outskirts of the city that is more difficult to reach as soon as we both have the time to do it.

So making new friends and networking is now basically an aspect of the game for me. After having a variety of jobs i am now a headhunter, so there is a chance that i run into someone who has programming skills, which could result in a better job with higher income for that person and a few thousand euros for me :)

Mostly alone. mainly because nobody around here my age plays this game. every once in awhile my son will go on a walk with me.

my son is the reason i started this game. but he quickly got bored with it. i mainly use it as a reason to walk/ride bike now. it gives me something to do and a specific route to take (pokestops).

in the first couple weeks after release i would run into others walking around playing and start some conversations. but, there is literally nobody still playing..... or i should say walking around. I still see a BUNCH of people that drive around, stop or slow down to get pokestops, then drive away.

the only place in town that has multiple pokestops available while standing in 1 spot......... in the days after release you could find 20-30 people there. always lured. i have went there 3 times this week and there was not 1 other person there. the game has really died in my area.

I see there is a real slowdown, but in a big city that has one of the best public transportation systems in the world, you just see it less.

The numbers are certainly going down. The game is still going strong, but now there are 15 people instead of 35, and at another spot maybe 80 instead of 150. Its still going strong, but they need a major content update really soon.
