Sorry if I'm kinda jumping the gun, but I posted about three days ago and the people after me on the last page haven't had their teams been made either, so wouldn't it make more sense to do it starting from where it was left off instead of skipping 3 or 4 people altogether?
So here's my first update:

The Team:
Frenzy the Ivysaur:
A great Pokemon at this point in the game, can 1-2 HKO everything!
Slaves:
Pidgey: Lv2 (no HMs yet)
Mankey Lv4 (no HMs yet)
The great marsh had a lack of variety in pokemon and also was an annoyance to get around due to the deep swamp. The Safari Zone was kind of irritating with the waiting thing, but I got used to it and it's made up for with the rare pokemon anyway.
Eh, the Sinnoh legends never really appealed to me, although if I had to choose one, it'd either be Dialga because it looks pretty cool or Shaymin Sky Forme because it's green and cute.
These two generations have my least favourite starters of any generation, so it didn't really matter because I'd stop using the starters before the first gym when I got my Bellsprout, Mareep and Onix combination.
Despite Whitney being easier than in GSC, she's still the hardest Johto leader by far in my opinion. The only one coming close is Clair but that's because dragons are always a pain for starter Pokemon, which is usually people's main Pokemon.
It's really easy to be largely underlevelled for the Johto Elite 4 because of the really low level wild Pokemon. I find that I'm always around lv40-42 with my team when entering. The Elite 4 of Johto is easy anyway, so you can defeat them with ease even at that level.
I really liked the design of Simisage, so I kept my Pansage (who was really underachieving for my team) until lv 43 to learn Crunch, and even when it evolved, it was still having troubles. It was boxed not long after the storyline to make way for my Venusaur.
Wow, I must be an exception. I traded over my EV trained sweepers Alakazam and Weavile and also Swampert. I find that I can OHKO almost everything with Alakazam or Weavile.
On my white playthrough, I gave myself all three (traded them from Black) so I could see which one I liked, so I would use that on Black. I settled with Tepig, because it could deal massive damage and also had some decent durability with its health. I also got Pansage by getting Tepig :D
I disagree, because you may force them at first, but then you form a bond with them, making the happier than they originally were. Team Plasma were trying to break this bond with trainers, which is like trying to steal a best friend from you.
