    I'm using FireRed and would it be a good choice to either switch to Blue Spider or MEH right now? Are they stable enough to use? Also, what do you exactly mean by "1.92 doesn't support extended roms?" I'm using the flag extension patch and would it cause issues when I use 1.92?

    I'm currently using A-map 1.95 to create my hack, but I stumbled upon a lot of posts saying that people should use A-map 1.92 instead because 1.95 is extremely buggy. Can anyone tell me the advantages of using 1.92?

    It seems like that wasn't the issue. I removed the faceplayer command but the same thing happened. I tried removing the setvar command but the hero still gets locked though no weird text appear.

    I'm using flags starting from 0xAAA0. I'll try replacing my flags with the ones between 0x200 ~ 0x2FF. Does it also mean that I have just 256 permanent flags that I can use safely in the game? Thank you so much, the flags don't reset themselves now. Are there any other safe flags to use?
