I'm currently using A-map 1.95 to create my hack, but I stumbled upon a lot of posts saying that people should use A-map 1.92 instead because 1.95 is extremely buggy.
Can anyone tell me the advantages of using 1.92?

I only use the a-map 1.95 if I need a really large BigBlock or to adjust connections. The rest is almost the same thing, and 1.92 is extremely safer.
Also, 1.95 works with season system. But if you are using it, be sure to have a lot of backups.

1.95 writes to arbitrary offsets when saving, causing it to corrupt your rom and break things. If you like having a hack that doesn't randomly develop bugs for no apparent reason, don't use it.

1.92 actually has block-selection baked in, hold Control and drag.

The only reason I use 1.95 is cause 92 doesnt support extended roms. I justhope bluespider or meh get emerald support cause im sick of using a-map.:(

I'm using FireRed and would it be a good choice to either switch to Blue Spider or MEH right now? Are they stable enough to use?

Also, what do you exactly mean by "1.92 doesn't support extended roms?" I'm using the flag extension patch and would it cause issues when I use 1.92?

Extended as in my rom is 32mb insteda of the normal 16mb. You shouldnt have an issue. But MEH and Blue Spider are still in alpha/beta stages so be wrned that they might explode in your face or the may help grandmas across the street.
