    News: Pokémon: Detective Pikachu gets NA Release Date; New Trailer

    A little surprised by some of the negative feedback here. I'm down for anything that tries to push mainstream Pokemon entertainment in a different direction. My biggest fear is that no matter what I do, I'll feel like I'm watching Deadpool acting as Pikachu. So there's that.

    Election jitters have completely sidetracked me from writing. Total ADD mess right now. Switch between my word processor and compulsively refreshing the various polling websites. Tomorrow's gonna be a looong day.

    Anime/Manga Anime that started off good but ended terribly

    Man, Deadman Wonderland fits the bill for me. It started out so dark and horrible (in a good way) but quickly degenerated into cliche.

    Haunted places

    I live in a small, rural, Midwestern town. There's an old three story piano factory that is decrepit and falling apart. My buddy and I are fascinated by paranormal stuff and we know the owners of the piano factory. We spent a couple hours up in there doing an investigation. Super creepy!

    Am I the only one here who thinks western cartoons are better than anime?

    The only Western cartoon that I can honestly stomach is Adventure Time, right now. That isn't to say that all anime is a godsend, because a ton of it is garbage, but when you have shows like Cowboy Bebop and Trigun there really is no competition.
