I can't post this image, but a simple google search of "Pokemon Japan Map" Will show you what the Pokémon world looks like. And from Serebii.net... So, the new region isn't going to be near there, and will likely not be able to travel there.

This was a neat game for the wii (WiiWARE that is). If anyone hasn't played this, its a real time action, beat-'em-up style game than can play up to four players at once, where you run through a stage, fighting and befriending pokémon on the way, eventually fighting in various "battle royales"...

The thing about Eevee is, its the adaptability pokémon. That's why Eevee has evolutions like Vaporeon, Flareon, Glaceon, and Leafeon (Jolteon is questionable, but I don't understand why Espeon and Umbreon exist, though I love them both). Here's the list of types not covered by Eevee...
