Hey again! hope you had a good 4th of July(lol not sure if you're American). But I do know how to insert tiles somewhat. Ive done it before, but don't necessarily call myself a pro at it. But I just did it again the other day as I've been getting back into making my own hack.

wow nice! yea I've never really stayed committed to one hack. the one time I made a lot of progress, my rom got corrupt and I didn't make any backups. that kinda pushed me away from rom hacking till basically just recently

Have you ever considered making your own hack? or just sticking with mapping and this competitions?

oh thats good! ill probably just be practicing my mapping and pixel art till teams are made.

Im really interested in the new one their making, but XSE is the most common one still. hey were you in the last Hack-Off?

mapping has always been the most fun for me. scripting was always more difficult to get the hang of. are you using XSE? right now in the Research and Development section it looks like they're making a new modern scripting language, which sounds cool.

Well what I use now is a Virtual Machine, which works for most of the common stuff like Advance Map. and when I deal with tiles and what not I just use Microsoft Paint. but what about you? what kind of hacking stuff have you done?

Very cool! but yea I've been on and off with hacking for a few years actually. My main issue is working off of a Mac, and trying to get the tools working. But Im really hoping to stay focus and dedicated this time around.

I've always been interested in pixel art in general, whether its like tiles, fakemon, or anything else. But I've just never really got into or put in the time to learn and practice. Its something I do want to get learn in the future though
