It works if I have a set name for the trainer, but what if I want to apply it to a rival (with a name that can be changed by the player, so it's not really set)? Also, what if I'm applying it to multiple trainers? Should I just copy/paste the red parts, as well as add extra "end"s?

Ah, thanks! But how do I make it so it's indicative of whether or not that switch is on? Ex: "Player turned ITEM1 on!" and "Player turned ITEM1 off!" Also, how do I make it so it's a key item that shows the "use" option? I already defined it as "useable outside of battle" in items.txt and yet...

Is it possible to define an item to turn a switch on when used from the bag? Example: Item 1 is used and it triggers Switch 32 to turn on/off.
