Launch day, but I didn't play long at first (lots of instabilities, and not much to do). With all the revamped and additional content (Gym re-work, PVP, trading, raids, community day events) I think it's a much nicer game to play. I've been back consistently since about November.

I got a bunch of shinies, but they're all trash IV's hahhaa. Evolved a few anyway and maybe they'll go lucky in a trade.

I loved it more than I anticipated I would, especially as I've played Kanto to death already. I finished the story, completed my dex, and am currently shiny hunting every now and then (not all the time). It actually got me back into Pokemon GO (which I'm still actively playing now)

I quite like it - I've received 3 Sinnoh stones (2 on my main and 1 on my alt) by battling myself; so they seem relatively common.

I've got a Surface Pro 3 which has been an absolute champion and served as my "travel" laptop / tablet for 3+ years with no issues. I do mostly use it in laptop mode, but I enjoy reading e-books on it as a tablet occasionally.

This isn't unusual for the pokemon games. All versions have had the possibility of catching pokemon evolutions below level. Things like Kakuna and Metapod come to mind.

I settled with Psychic, Fairy, Ice, and Electric.

I've never shiny hunted - and as a result have never gotten a random encounter (Red Gyarados doesn't count). So my first shiny was a shiny Magikarp in Let's Go - but I hunted for it.
