What's considered acceptable? Does the game one posts HAVE to be a Pokemon game or can it be based around a similar concept? Heh, well it's better than mine I have to admit, but I'm not used to making isometric sprites so. *shrugs* In any case, if my sprites help at all, that's good enough. It's also a good way for me to build up experience and improve my skills.

Yeah, but again, the troublemakers and "noobs" easilly overlook stuff like that. So a nice big red sign near the top or end of the post (better near the top) stating "DO NOT ASK TO BE AN ALPHA OR BETA TESTER!" would deter them a bit. ;P

Yes, but unfortunately many "noobs" don't know that, and since it's rarely in the first posts (since people assume it's common sense) they usually don't find out until it's too late, at which point the thread-creator gets annoyed/mad. This makes problems for both the creator and the "noob"...

Hmm.. from what I read on the first page, this game seems pretty cool. I especially like that you're breaking away from the old battle system, although I think going for a microphone/voice intergrated system is a bit much. You should try to start with simple features then work your way up...

I agree completely. It would prevent some of the more annoying posts and it would make you seem less rude, since not everyone in the forum feels like reading through hundreds of posts to find ones where you answer something. An FAQ section below your main post seperated by ------- might help.

Hm... This sounds promising, and it looks like you've go a semi-proffesional team up. The fact that the leader of the project is a programmer is also a good sign, since programmers usually know what's possible and what isn't and rarely bite off more than they can chew. I really hope this...
