What's considered acceptable? Does the game one posts HAVE to be a Pokemon game or can it be based around a similar concept? I'm currently working on a project/game that's similar to Pokemon but not restrained by it's world or outdated (in my humble opinion) battle system. So I'd like to know if I'd be able to post info/screenies/a demo in that area or if it'd only be acceptable if I modded the game to be Pokemon. I don't want to provide too many details yet until I have a working demo (so no one tries to steal my ideas and get a clone up before me) but it's going to be very diffrent from many of the games currently being made. The main Pokemon elements that will be kept intact is the catpuring/taming and raising of various monsters that exist in the world, and the use of them in battle. Everything else changes quite a bit though. If necessary, I'll give more info, but only to moderators or trusted members of the community. Thanks for your time/help.

yes you can post in the game showcase section even with a non pokemon game. There are many games like Gate Of Eternities that are not pokemon games. So yes u can post.

Every kind of game is allowed in the Game Development section, this is not a Pokémon only section. Most people, however, create Pokémon games.

    Well no problem(message too short)
The 25 character rule is there for a reason, do not attempt to bypass it.
