You could just use the vs seeker, you can keep battling the trainers on routes for ever since there is no wait time for a trainer to be available again to battle you. with this i level'd up my team from the 20's to the 30's really quick.

Jesus christ does this game even have a map? I cant find it. I don't even know where to go sometimes, i just talk to everyone i can possible talk to. I even started to write down every location name and make my own hand made map just so i dont get lost anymore

Just recently i started breeding to get a hippowdon. I wanted the female one because the females are black and look much cooler, kinda like a shiny version. So i breeded until i got the perfect nature female hippowdon egg.

On emerald you can get rayquaza pretty early in the game so i used the master ball on it and pretty much used it all the time after that making the game incredibly easy. Still whaiting for a shiny to obtain one :P
