Well, I've gotten a bit further now, I'm up to the cycle path and I've still not noticed a difference.

Hm, looks like I'll be giving this one a miss. Hopefully the next Wii Pokemon game will be better.

Anyone who says you HAVE to be under a certain age to Pokemon is full of (insert curse word here, not used since kids may venture the forums) Seriously, words can not express how tired I am of people saying that ¬_¬

At a Pokemon event in summer 2007 (Summer Day Camp I beleive it was called) my friend gave me a whole team of Pokemon to use since I had only recently purchased Pearl at the time, as they had Pokemon Battle Revolution there for people to use their Diamond/Pearl Pokemon on, and alot of people...

I just assumed that it meant the Pokemon were higher levels (I mean, just as an hypothetical example, a Pokemon trainer in D/P who has level 7 Pokemon has level 10's in Platinum, in the exact same location) or some such.

I got Platinum yesterday (various reasons as to why I couldn't get it at launch, blah blah blah...anyways.) and some people told me (not on the forums but still) that Platinum has a higher difficulty than Diamond and Pearl right from the get go. I'm currently at Floroma (sp) town and have not...

Exactly, and all because a bunch of stupid parents don't want to tell their kids not to copy stuff they see in games -_- I don't even see how it could lead it real gambling, I first used the Game Corners back in Yellow before I was 10 and never gave real gambling a second thought.

They will probably have new features exclusive to the 2 games, but unless they make all the Sinnoh Pokemon available in HG/SS, then I don't see it COMPLETLEY replacing it

I don't see why they would take it out, a DS cartridge should be able to hold all the data.

As long as you transfer your Pokemon after getting all 8 badges (or sooner if they were low enough in level) wouldn't there be little to no difference anyway? (I mean, from playing Diamond & Pearl to playing Platinum) Just saying, is all.
