I've been into Pokemon ever since I was a little child. When I was a kid I would run home after kindergarten and school to watch the anime, and as soon as the episode had finished, I would beg my mum to buy a gameboy for me. That never happened though, and so, having seen all the episodes of the first two generations and never getting my so badly wished gameboy, I gradually started to lose interested in the series. It turned out that I would miss the entire 3rd Generation. But then I turned 11 in August 2007 and what do you know, I got a Nintendo DS for my bday. I then rushed into the next game shop, yet I had no idea what game I should buy. I saw Pokemon Diamond in the shelf and thought well why not, let's give this a go, I have always wanted to play a Pokemon video game. And this was the moment that revived my joy for the series, and I played the shit out of my Diamond edition, beating Cynthia a good 20 times before buying Pearl and later Platinum. And I have never missed a main series game ever since, and hopefully it continues like that.
