there is this footprint guy in the a little farther in the game that tells happiness i think. there is also a function on your watch that you get from some one in a pokecenter that tells happiness with hearts but the team you have isn't the greatest at this point

true but if that first attack doesn't make the opponent faint or the attack misses then with staraptors poor defense it 'll get toasted but i do have one

"better" is an opinion but go to serebii.net check the pokedex thing and lokk at their move sets you should find out which is "better"

ok fight the gym a couple times(probably lose) and if you have plenty bof money to waste then blow it on that blacking out thing, thats how i used to train when nothing else could be done

then train like you've never trained before all the advice i can give
