Hatched a shiny Wynaut (which is now a shiny Wobbuffet), took advantage of the Earth Day bonuses to evolve a 100% IV Wailmer into Wailord, and I got to stage 5 out of 8 on the special research to get Mew. Working on walking my buddy Eevee to try the friendship trick and evolve it into Espeon. :o

No @ the shiny Wailmer so far, but I did catch enough of them to evolve the nice IV one I had into a Wailord for the dex, and I'm a few Lotad catches away from a Ludicolo. Honestly I just caught a ton of stuff for the stardust boost. /shrug

I wonder if they'll end up using the Metal Coat or not - 100 candies and a Metal Coat seems a bit steep. If that's the case, I hope that means Magnezone and the rest of the Gen 4 evos like him are worth using.
