Easier to manage everything if it's all in one place, right? That's actually the reason I can't get into PC games - I never end up doing any gaming because I'm so busy doing everything else. xD
Honestly I don't think you're missing out on too much, especially given the wonders of emulation giving you access to most things. Which is totally acceptable when video games cost a ridiculous amount of money and/or aren't made readily available on modern platforms.
I actually only got a smartphone last week so I'm included in the phones crowd now, yay! Not that I have anyone to call on it xD

As someone who didn't like BOTW at all I can more than understand why you couldn't get into it, haha. I think I get it though - I tend to gravitate towards my handhelds over my consoles because I just prefer curling up than staring at a TV screen...and my attempts to PC game have been met with repeated failure despite getting a reasonably good Acer Predator gaming laptop a couple of years ago that could run most things comfortably. It's hard to get into these things! Or it's hard unless the game is truly exceptional, anyway. I've had a lot of fun with my Switch but I'm not sure I'd say any game on it is that yet. At least, not exclusives-wise. Double-dipping on games is an expensive thing to do with the Switch especially too, as everything is full price and then some...I mean, I'd love to get Resi 4 next week, but Capcom are charging £30 for it, and it's half that on PS4. DOOM is about a tenth of the price on PS4 now than it is on Switch. The tax is painful =x

Well, it depends on what you play! I've been suffering through the entire Kingdom Hearts series lately and oh god I don't know why. I have FFXII on Switch and I should be playing that but instead I'm listening to white-haired Myotismon laugh about DARKNESS. Oooh, DQ. I had DQXI on PS4 for a time, but I sold it because the music drove me insane. Will definitely be buying it when it comes out on Switch though, because asides from that I found it quite fun, and the Switch version has better music, the option to switch modes - which I think is amazing; for some reason I've been really into old-style 2D games lately - and handheld convenience...which is kinda necessary for turn-based games, at least for me. Did you play the original Dragon Quest Builders? I actually got it a few months earlier because I was curious about DQB2 and now I am definitely getting it...although it looks like importing might be the only choice. Why on earth there are no Switch physical preorders for EU territories I do not know.

If it makes you feel any better, I left school 7 years ago now and I barely even remember it, haha. Regardless of what's going on right now, I'm glad you have a good working environment...it's surprising how grounding having a job can be, I think. Even at the worst of times it can give you some stability and purpose.

Things are...things, I guess? I got a part-time job at the end of 2017, and that's been a nice thing to have. Otherwise...many, many video games. Always video games. xD
