Fo' sure I wanna see.
Speaking of 3D software, you should ask if your professor or teacher or whatever plans on teaching you guys anything with Unity3D. Unity is seriously coming up in the world of software.
See, Adobe has always basically owned the internet what with pdfs being able to be read in the browser and Flash being pretty much standard. Now, Unity's taking over with its own web player because it has true 3D, whereas Flash has only been able to mimic 3D. Still, though, now Adobe's trying to reclaim it with a version of Flash called Molehill, but they'll never take over, I don't think.
Unity costs a few grand for the really good versions, but even Adobe Creative Suite costs a shitload and isn't as powerful.
The great thing about Unity is the ability to play games on PC, through a browser, on an iPhone or on Android. Like, it transfers through all that stuff pretty much seamlessly. With true 3D, rather than imitation.
