Is overworld poison supposed to be ticking every single step? My pokemon are fainting within seconds and it's impossible to see the screen because it's garbled on every frame

FireRed hack: Pokémon Unbound [COMPLETED]

Attempting to force a double battle with these 2 trainers on Route 5 causes you to become permanently stuck in this area. Saving and reloading does not reset their positions.
