  • College now, so many things have happened. Kinda sux that you guys are either at Mangafox, Minecraft nurdz or Hetalia Fangirls. xD
I wonder how much they cost at that store in the US? They are SOOOOOOO cheap here!!! All the manga are!!! This one was only 438 Yen. Thats like $5!

Well in Japanese class right now they are studying modern Japanese, Classical Japanese, and Classical Chinese (So its ALL Kanji).
Well, yeah, you're what? 15/16 now? I'm 22. You know nothing. Believe me, you think you know everything in high school. Then you move out and try making it on your own and learn, no. No you don't.

It doesn't work like you think Masa, it means lurking around on campus alone. Maybe get lunch. That's about it. Luckily I don't have that. (also skipping fencing tomorrow).

Yeah, that's about right. Still, in shear workload totals, that's nothing. You're homework isn't "write a computer program" or "interview the mayor" or "write an orchestra" because that's me and my friend's homework. And it's totally worth it.
Oh and I went to the cd/book/dvd store on sunday and bought Pokemon Special Volume 30. (I literally haven't read any of this arc at all...) I can see myself buying a bunch of them before I leave. XP
Well a foreigner obviously wouldn't be able to understand the Japanese class, because the Japanese students don't even. English is obviously very easy. I actually kind of understand science because there are a lot of diagrams. I understand math when the teacher is writing stuff on the board and going through it step by step, but when it comes to a problem....I'm usually lost (Its just a bunch of kanji that I have't learned yet with a number or two thrown in the middle). I can't understand social studies or history that much either. So...I'm okay in English, P.E., Home Ec., Language Lab (another English class), Music, a little Geology, and a little math.
You don't want to know. And at least 2 or 3 of those, youre too young to talk about with anyways.

It's also really annoying when you have an hour break becuase it takes half that long to get home, so youre just stuck there.

Ah... The heaping pile of homework. I have those. Sometimes. One advantage to college: there usually not much homework. It just tends to hit all at once and make life hell.
I've been here since august 22 and I arrived at my host family's house the 27th. We live in Okinawa so there are lots of beaches and THE OCEAN!!! I have an older brother and sister, mother and father. School is ok I guess. They moved me back a grade so it wouldnt be as tough. So I'm a first year (10th grade) even though in America I'm a Junior (11th grade). Tomorrow we have a track and fireld day. I'm exited. Yes I think I look prety cool in my uniform.
MY reply is not however. Crazy trip huh? Been there.

Pretty much. Although I get sidetracked by Fallout New Vegas alot and school has/is starting for some people.

Uh... Katie is the girl who makes that Awkward Zombie comic. Really cool. Have talked to her before.
Yeah, although, most are interacting via Minecraft when not on MSN. We got hooked. Badly. :P

College is oddly entertaining. Especially watching the dumb **** we all do. In the words of Katie Tiedrich, College is like kindergarten with a much higher capacity to hurt oneself.
Same. Although... the club members still talk on MSN. Alot. Like daily. We're still a Nakama. Of sorts.

    Enjoy!

College is basically doing what you want. None of the classes (except for a few) are stuff I hate. For instance, I took creative writing, tennis, an online excel class and publication design. Writing, art, programming and sports. All things I like. Also, people don't pick on you in class. People are nice.
I can tell why. The club shut down. It's like taking away a bunch of crack addict's crack.

Well, good luck with all that.

Eh. Summer school is different in college.
You're welcome. :3 (It actually updated today too!)

I've only been to Southern Cali. It's nice. I wish I could find a manga store down there. That'd be awesome. That bookstore sounds cool.

We only stayed there for a week.
The updates can vary. Usually, the comic updates within 1-3 days, but on flash pages or particularly long updates (or if Andrew is busy), he takes about a week.

Not really... me and Laura went to California in June, but that was it.
It's a tragedy, really. I miss our cracky club.

Yeah, it gets even longer since the comic updates frequently. If you ever do have a chance to read, happy reading!
    Yeah still kickin'.

That's cool. Not sure, I'd ever want to travel to S. Africa given the state of things in that part of the world right now, but I think you'll enjoy yourself.

My summer? I'm in school. That's my summer. Enjoying it really. Lots of learning and soaking up what I can on Uncle Sam's dime while I can.
