A few days ago I was watching a Pokemon episode, and (my heart kinda sank)... It seems like now even Brock is no longer a part of the team. Maybe he returned to Pewter City and we/I missed it? Now the team consists of Ash, Dawn, Lyra, and Cory (if I'm spelling thar correctly). (I never was a big fan of Misty, but still I was kinda disappointed when she left.)
it seems like they always make at least 1 dragon-type legend for each generation starting from the 3rd, because the 1st and 2nd have mostly flying-type legends
May only came back for a bit, then she left when she lost the contest to Dawn. It seems like Brock will remain a permanent remember of the team, the girl who's been there longer will leave before a new one arrives, occasionally a new guy will join the team for awhile... Sometimes they had Tracy instead of Brock. Who knows--maybe they'll eventually reunite with all the ones who left?
Well, at least Dawn's still on the anime...for now. I won't be surprised if she ends up leaving at some point, say, when/if the Black & White girl comes in, whatever they decide to name her... Lyra is cool, too. I think other gym leaders besides just Brock and Misty should be part of the team for a time!
I'm a huge May fan, too! For a time I was endlessly searching YouTube vids of her and Ash as a couple (and occasionally Dawn and Ash) and her BFFL-ship with Dawn! I kinda wish she'd stay a permanent part of the team, though :/
