    3rd Gen Secret Bases!

Secret Bases in R/S/E were a nice addition. I utilized this feature across Ruby & Sapphire cartridges to keep records of a prized team from each instance I restarted the adventure in Ruby. I used easy-access locations close to towns for this as it was extremely unlikely any one of my friends...

3rd Gen Have you found any shinies in 3rd gen?

Playing Ruby, I found only shiny Swablu's. I found one per play-though and I traded each over to LG to save them when I wanted to start a new game. I had accumulated 3 shiny Swablu's as if they were the only shinies in the cartridge.

3rd Gen Favorite Third Gen Pokemon?

My favorite 3rd gen pokemon is Tropius. It is a grass/flying that could learn fly unlike the Flying-type wannabe known as Jumpluff.

    1st Gen Hitmonchan or Hitmonlee?

I chose Hitmonlee because it looked so strange and because it made me laugh when crashing using jump kick or high jump kick.

2nd Gen "I need money, mom!"

I liked this feature a lot, even though the mom spent some of the money. In GSC, she would stop after the Big Snorlax, and you could have twice the maximum pocket money at your disposal (if managed well) with a pokemon that knows HM02 Fly.

    2nd Gen Gifts

I used gift pokemon, but I tended to put them in a parties of their own (I did not mix the caught with the gifted - OCD?).

2nd Gen Pick one of these three.

I could not choose a anyone other than Totodile because of those great jaws.

1st Gen What did you evolve your Eevee into?

I always elected Vaporeon in my Yellow version. Water type was the oddity among Fire & Electric (being energies), so I chose Vaporeon. When I decided to take a chance on Jolteon, its late move "Pin Missile" did not do it justice. Flareon was never even a player due to Fire being the most...

1st Gen What part annoyed you the most in R/B/Y?

The most annoying thing about R/B/Y for me was that there was no renewable source of PokeCredits other than the Elite Four. All the Repels, Super Repels, Max Repels (Caves like Rock Tunnel), Pokeballs, Great Balls, Ultra Balls (for legendaries, especially the ones that choose to miss the birds)...

    2nd Gen The Red Gyarados

There being a Red Gyarados could not have made more sense. The color really emphasizes the atrocity it's supposed to embody (as opposed to the normal blue). It was still rather disappointing to use until HeartGold/SoulSilver came out because of the Water Type being a part of Type 2 group (in...

    Physical or digital?

For true keepsakes, I prefer having a physical copy. This is not to say I dislike digital copies so much. Digital copies are great because they are transferable and many can be contained in a small, portable electronic player. However, I grew up around corporeality, so physical copies are...

6th Gen New Type Confirmed: Fairy!

I'm okay with the "Fairy" type, but I would seriously question GF's character if it used this as a platform to launch a certain massive stereotype into the game as a (few) humanshape pokemon. I'm hoping that when GF creates Fairy-Type pokemon, it won't confine the type to the cute & cuddly...

    Introduction: New User

Hi. I am new to PC. I like Pokemon quite a bit. I like the 3rd gen games the most. I enjoy playing on the GameboyAdvanceSP because it is the most recent handheld device most like the original Gameboy and Gameboy Color. You're probably thinking that I'm crazy because the 3DS boasts...
