I like to play video games, cook, and do some road tripping whenever I can. I also value my alone time, so I use that time to write a short story, read a book, do some crafting or just enjoy the outdoors if it's nice out. Earlier last year I quit my dream job as a journalist to put my mental health first. While it was the best decision at the time, I realized my true calling was being a journalist.

Pokemon has been my life since the 90's, starting with Gen 1. Gen 2 is my favorite. Meganium is my favorite Pokemon, with Articuno being my favorite legendary. I have played the games since the original Red/Blue came out. At this time, as I've returned to the fandom, I'm catching up on the Switch games, such as Sword and Shield, Pokemon Legends, and eventually, Violet.

Outside of Pokemon, I am a huge Splatoon player. I also dabble on simulator games (The Sims, Rollercoaster Tycoon) and shooter games (DOOM, Team Fortress 2) if I'm in the mood. I am also a retro gamer (Super Mario, Sonic, etc)

I have three cats, a bunch of plant friends, and too many fish tanks.
