Join the club :P I just don't think that the new games really being anything new to the table. And there's plenty that I don't like about them. But if I get enough birthday money I might just go ahead and get them anyway. Besides, my brother is going to be buying both games, so he can tell me if they're any good :P

Well, they're for GameCube, and you can play GameCube games on the Wii... the bigger problem would be finding the games. They're 7+ years old and definitely out of print now. I only wish you could play as a girl character in those games - otherwise they'd be my favorite games in the entire franchise :)

It's probably because I rarely ate out as a kid, and still don't now that I'm back home. Eating out was a special event, so maybe that's why it always tasted better. Or maybe it's because we eat mostly the same stuff all the time. Or maybe I really am just that weird. After all, I came up with a trainer like Lisa :P

Maybe. My allergies have been known to keep me up at night, and because of that I end up taking long naps during the afternoon. I should try watching shows maybe at night when I can't sleep anyway, lol

It's more or less to keep people from talking about subjects that are old and outdated. If it's a topic that someone really wants to discuss again, they can always create a new thread for it if the old one has gone inactive.

Oh yeah, my parents ae back from their vacation now. It's gotten a bit tougher since I can't microwave my midnight snacks anymore without waking them up - and they get mad when they get woken up.

And one of their hotel rooms on their trip had a filthy, nasty bathtub. I hope my hotel room next month doesn't have a tub that disgusting...

I tried to enjoy it while on vacation, but now I can't really seem to get any new fresh ideas.
I can't decide how to write the book either. It starts with him waking up, but events occur before and after that. How do I do that? Make interchanging chapters in present & past? What do you think? :)
(I've seen Memento by Christopher Nolan... do you think a style like that would work? :))

I assumed it was a good anime by its very high ratings :P But I doubt itll make me like horror. Ofcourse you have to give any anime AT LEAST the 3 episode test. Plus I dont drop things if I start watching them.

I'm trying to write a criminal adventure type of book, with science fiction elements in it. :) It's about a guy who wakes up somewhere and has no idea who he is. (But I swear it's not like Bourne :P)

Haha I dont like unhappy endings, they make me angry and disappointed, also Im not a huge fan of horror thoguh I do plan on watching When They Cry soonish. Though saying that I cant watch happy light hearted anime for too long or I get bored cause i NEEDZ BLOOD! And Action! And Fighting scenes! Wooooooooooooooo!!!!
I put off watching it because I thought it was a vampire story but it actually isnt at all! Its fairly entertaining as well, a lot of dialogue though.

Yeah, it's more or less a time for me to relax - and if I do decide to buy the new Pokemon games, it's going to be during that trip to the city. I think it would be kinda cool having the "Journey Start Date" on your game to be your actual birthday :P

Actually, the RPG is the bulk of both games. Their battle mode is quite limited in comparison to the RPG. It's pretty much your character recapturing corrupted Pokemon from criminals (yes, you actually get to catch Pokemon from other trainers), putting a stop to their schemes, and "purifying" the corrupted Pokemon you catch.

I can't stand eating home cooked meals everyday, actually xD If I had my way, I'd eat out for every meal, every day xD Microwave meals aren't that great, though, lol

It's more of a problem with me constantly being tired all the time. I get to the point where I want to sit down and watch a few episodes, but all of a sudden I start feeling tired and try to sleep instead... then I end up not being able to fall asleep :/

The rule is that if it's been 30 days or more since a thread was last posted in, you can't post there again. Only exception is the story's author can post a new chapter after 30 days. But other posts like comments wouldn't be allowed after the 30 days.

I swear I'd laugh my ass off into oblivion if I heard the line "Come out of the boat with your hands up." if the cops did show to arrest Katsura but then again I'm weird like that lol. I saw a scan of that one too, never found the actual footage of the endings apart from nice boat though.

Nope. I watch action and light hearted stuff. The way I watch is like a light hearted show thats easy to watch then after it ill watch something thats all action etc. But I do enjoy some comedy in my anime!
Oh I thought it was going to be good but it was so meh, and the ending blew MASSIVE chunks. Just watched the two monogatari series, I wanna see Shinbou as an adult being a mega babe!

Haha well they were just the ones that I had finished over the last week. Baka to Test was fairly funny for most of the time but it was also pretty average.
Its not a stupid question its my stupidity from also being a gamer, OP means Over Powered. It wasnt really that good though, rather disappointing.

Night Shift Nurses is the /b/ of anime, if you go anywhere near it then abandon all hope ye who enter here lol.

There's also Katsura getting raped by Taisuke but at least that's averted in the manga adaptation thank the lord. I was expecting police sirens to be going off by the time Katsura got on the boat with Makoto's head though lol.

Well, since I don't have college, it's hard to find parties at all that aren't at dark smoky bars or for people in their 40's... It's not the same without people in my age group... so I might skip the party and just go for shopping, eating out and relaxing at the hotel.

Yeah, I know... the city's always been bad, but I didn't think that particular neighborhood was like that... it wasn't back when I was young. That Quality Inn doesn't seem like a bad hotel from what I've read online about it, just the neighborhood around it just got worse over the years, I guess...

Yeah, but at least I was able to put together a trainer that looked fairly cute :) The big problem is not having anything to do with her once I got done making her... I do wish they had an RPG mode in that game like Colosseum or XD.

Things have gotten better with them... in fact they had me get directions for them, look up motels and prices, and look up how much highway tolls would cost. In exchange they're gonna snatch the hotel freebies like pens and stationery for me :P I'll gladly collect anything with a hotel's logo (Comfort Inn in their case) on it lol

I have this fear of burning myself on the stove, which is why I tend to stay away from it. The microwave is fine, but because I have to bend over the open door of the oven, I'm afraid I'm going to stumble and land right on it. Besides, restaurants make the best food anyway :) And for the record, Lisa cooks no better than I do lol

I've basically got a lot of anime episodes I haven't watched yet, and I can't seem to find the time to devote to them.

Oh the noes! Dont you hate it when they do that to you just after the holidays have finished :'( I work retail in a small town which allows me lots of time to watch anime cause its usually fairly slow.
Well over the last few days Ive finished Basilisk, Air Tv, Shakagun No Shana and Baka to Test. Today I'll be starting Desert Punk which Ive heard good things about xD apparently the MC is OP and I always like OP characters.

Sure is! Only problem is, without being in college anymore it's hard to find a good one to go to anymore (one without lots of drinking/other weird stuff going on). But I definitely took advantage of the time I *was* in college for Halloween parties xD Even won a few costume contests, which is a nice little extra birthday present :P

Yeah, and the news reports say he was actually a good kid and *not* one of the gang thugs who usually shoot at each other in the city. It's really unfortunate, though being outside in that part of the city before sunrise probably wasn't a smart move considering how violent the city is. Hopefully I won't run into any sorts of trouble, but then again I intend to be inside the hotel after dark.

I know I'd make mine look as much like Lisa as possible. You could customize trainers to some extent in Battle Revolution for Wii, and I gave my trainer a purple dress, matching hat, and brown hair. Not exactly Lisa, but as close as I could come with the tools available. Unfortunately, that's all you ever do in ihat game - battle. It gets boring after awhile.

Oh, BTW the parents have left on their little vacation. They're going out to Massachusetts to see sights in and around Cape Cod and Boston. My brother and I are the only ones in the house now so I hope we don't end up burning the place down or something :P Because as you may know, I'm horrible at cooking stuff xD He's decent, but I'm a whole other story :P

Well, in reality I'm not too concerned about it since I do have stuff to eat that I can simply microwave. And I'm getting my own vacation in about seven weeks or so lol Won't be as long since I don't have that kind of money, but I'll definitely appreciate the "me" time :P

And I'm like, so far behind on my anime watching (9 or so episodes spread out over all the series I watch) that it's not even funny. Any advice on catching up on them?
