The best way to do it would be to make it sanbox, make it revolve around catching all of the pokemon by recreating the pokemon locations. For trainers, maybe have each region have a set level scale? like Kanto 5-25 ect..

There's a lot of shady stuff that goes on in the pokemon fan game community. To begin with none of this is legal, secondly all those Pokemon MMOs have illegal microtransactions so theres not much you can do except try and get it taken down.

Just host out of country in a place with non harsh copyright laws like China. Or fight the DMCA and try and get it replaced by something better

Well I'm back to check if its been updated, it appears that's not the case. If you have canned this please release the source code so others can work together to finish it ^-^
