That's what I'm afraid of. If it is just npc pokemon that just follow you, its not going to feel the same as if it were my own pokemon.

I agree just saying that if a game does have cutscenes that a skip button goes a long way. On topic I would love if following pokemon came back. The recent trailer hasn't convinced me that it is back.

I don't think US/UM will answer any questions from S/M. The pokemon direct made it sound like US/UM would have a different story than S/M. At least that's how it sounded to me.

I highly doubt they'll be a second region to explore. I do hope there will be more islands cause Alola as a whole felt a little small to me.

GX made a theory that since the league is in there might be gyms as well. All around Alola there are these big empty spaces that could be where gyms are being built. Of course this is just theory so it could be wrong. Edit: Here's the video

The way I see it Trails are just gyms with a new coat of paint. You still have puzzles that may or may not include battles. The first trial has you fighting yungoos/A-ratatta. At the end of a trial you fight a totem pokemon which is the same as a gym leader. That's how I see it anyway maybe I'm...

Actually we do know what two of the exclusive Z moves do. Eevee's Z move raise all its stats by 2 stages while the Tapu's Z move does 75% of damage to the opponent Pokemon's remaining HP.
