There are some portrayals in Pokemon Special that are better than in the anime, and some portrayals in the anime that are better than in Pokemon Special. Everything's canon, but the games themselves are about as canon as you can get.

I think it'd be really fun. I would definitely play it! Unfortunately, I really don't see any chance of that happening at all, excluding fan-made games.

I'd love to live in the Pokemon Adventures/Special universe. I think I'd live in Kanto, but close to Johto enough to visit.

Ditto with you on that one. I also love all of the scenes featuring the Mask of Ice (Masked Man), the final battle in the Emerald Arc, and Blue reuniting with her parents.

Thank you for responding, everyone! While I'm very happy that Viz is finally releasing Pokemon Special at a good pace, I think they need to hold off on the Black and White Arc. The volumes won't even be released in Japan until after the Platinum and Heartgold and Soulsilver Arcs, so how would...

I meant that Viz is doing too many different arcs at once. For non-Special fans it may be confusing and I think that it would be better for Viz too release the volumes on a more frequent basis and catch up faster instead of doing multiple arcs at once.
