I have to change the extension from .gb to .gbc and back depending on what tool I want to use at a time. Also, gymEdit will lock the rom without letting you open it with other tools until you kill it in task manager.

Depending on the version of the game it could do some major fixing. I'm doing a yellow rom, for exemple, winch the type effectiveness was psychic = immune to ghost, instead of weak. You could also 'fill blanks' like making some typings resistant to themselves, which wasnt made for all of them...

Nice! I think birds are cool too, mostly underrated. I haven't try every pokémon game yet, but on the ones I did bird keepers were mostly underused. I would love to see a Bird Gym!

If you could make a fan ROM with this mechanic, I would definantly play it! Way more engaging than x1 with every GYM or EF member in sequence.

I've been doing a yellow hack in an 8gb ram i7, and a lot of stuff don't run unless I execute them in compatibility mode for *Windows XP*.
